On the navigation bar, click on takings and "Add Takings".
Select a location from the drop down menu and click .
This will take you to the "Add Takings" screen to record takings to the next available date. Here any weather conditions and other trade issues such as transport strikes, or staff shortages can be recorded.
Below this section, in the "Takings Detail", this is where the till sales records are recorded. The breakdown on different types of takings such as food and drink, in house and takeaway can be recorded here. The software will calculate the VAT contained in the sale where applicable. (Note takings categories and VAT can be set in the business set up menu).
In the section below the takings is "Collections" where the money collected by cash and card is recorded.
"Petty Cash", the next section down is for petty cash expenditure recording. Click to create a new line and fill in the details of the supplier, description and total spent. Multiple lines can be created.
The final section is "Diff and Other Comments". This is where the difference between takings and collections is calculated and identified. This may be due to an error in recording or something occurred in the business that needs recording, cash advances, theft etc. This is where a comment would be recorded in the text box at the bottom of the screen.
Once completed at the bottom of the screen click either of to save and remain on the page, or to close the takings page.
